Rafting from Manuel Antonio

Compare Rafting from Manuel Antonio from the current Manuel Antonio catalogue. The name covers a compact beach settlement, the national park and activities that actually leave from neighbouring Quepos or Damas Island. We keep that distinction visible: Marina Pez Vela and Quepos Airport are in Quepos, while Nauyaca and the Tárcoles River are separate day-trip destinations.

How to choose

Choose by starting point and physical effort, not only by the photograph. Wildlife walks are slow and exposed to heat; rafting, ocean kayaking and waterfall trips require different confidence and conditions. Animal sightings and calm seas are never guaranteed.

A naturalist guide can make small wildlife easier to spot, but a park ticket is not included in every guided product. For boats, compare the Quepos meeting point, shade, toilet and swimming stop. For distant waterfalls, compare total transfer time with the activity itself.

Good to know: The national park has no official car park and its tickets are sold online by SINAC. Boat trips normally meet in Quepos, while river, waterfall and canopy tours may include a road transfer. Check the exact meeting point, admission and pickup zone before paying.
